Logo Generation

Logo generation uses AI to produce logo concepts from a text description of a brand — its name, industry, and vibe. Two approaches exist, and it's worth knowing which a tool uses: template-driven generators like Looka assemble curated icons, fonts, and layouts algorithmically, while diffusion-based image models generate pixels from a prompt. Each has a catch. Diffusion models historically mangle text and typography, so a 'logo' with the brand name spelled correctly is unreliable — though text-capable models like Ideogram have improved this. Generated raster logos also aren't vector, so they don't scale cleanly to signage or favicons without redrawing. For SaaS builders, logo generation is a strong top-of-funnel hook for brand and website builders. Practical note: set expectations that AI output is a starting concept, not a final trademark-ready asset — real logos need vector files, a color system, and originality checks to avoid accidental similarity to existing marks. Offer editable, vectorized output or a designer handoff rather than a flat PNG if you want users to actually ship the result.
