Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data StackZen collects when you visit, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
We collect minimal data: pages viewed, referring source, device/browser type, and approximate location (country-level, derived from IP — we don't store raw IP addresses long-term). If you contact us, we keep the email address and message you send us. We don't require an account to browse StackZen, so most visits are anonymous.
Cookies & analytics
We use a single analytics cookie (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are useful, which aren't. It only loads after you accept the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics request is made. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.
If you accept, we also load Yandex Metrica for aggregate analytics. This includes Webvisor (anonymized session recording of on-page interactions such as clicks and scrolling) and sets Yandex cookies. Like GA4, it loads only after you accept the cookie banner — nothing is sent if you decline — and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us what data we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. We'll respond within 30 days.
